Langford clients are 30 minutes from Amanda's Sooke studio — and Amanda also brings mobile Reiki directly to Langford homes, offices, and care facilities across the Westshore.

Two ways to access Reiki in Langford

You don't have to choose between travel and convenience. Core Healing serves Langford in two formats:

  1. In-studio at Sooke — about 30–40 minutes from central Langford via Highway 14. The studio is purpose-built for healing work: low-light, quiet, scent-conscious.
  2. Mobile / in-home Reiki in Langford — Amanda travels to you across Langford, Colwood, View Royal and the broader Westshore. Especially valuable for post-surgery recovery, palliative support, anxious clients who don't want to drive, and families coordinating sessions for both adults and children in one visit.

What Langford clients book Reiki for

Mobile Reiki in Langford — $120, on location. Includes travel and a full 90-minute session. Amanda brings everything needed; you only need a quiet room and a flat surface (bed, couch, or massage table if you have one).

Why Reiki — what the research shows

Reiki is not a substitute for conventional medicine, but it is a well-tolerated complement to it. A 2017 review published in the Journal of Evidence-Based Complementary & Alternative Medicine concluded Reiki performs better than placebo across multiple endpoints — pain reduction, anxiety reduction, and improvements in self-reported wellbeing.[1] The Cleveland Clinic lists Reiki among its approved integrative therapies and notes it is "safe to use with conventional medical treatment."[2]
