What Reiki is — briefly
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing modality systemised by Mikao Usui in 1922. The U.S. National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health categorises it as a biofield therapy and describes it as "considered safe."[1] Multiple peer-reviewed studies have demonstrated measurable reductions in pain, anxiety, and depressive symptoms following Reiki treatment.[2]
